The law protects the relationship between client and therapist/counselor. Any personal and private information will not be disclosed without written permission.

Exceptions to this include suspected child abuse, dependant adult, or elder abuse, and if a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person or themselves. I am required by law to report these threats and to the appropriate authorities immediately to ensure the safety of yourself and all others involved.
