Programs come in every shape and size. Some are posh, spartan, focus on music, exercise, some for young people, and some not. Expensive ones come with amenities and the free ones don't, but they all come with a singular focus: the health of the individual. Remember, none of them are Disneyland and the people there are in the midst of change, so to hear "that place sucks" goes for them all... until the day they leave. It's then we hear: "Wow... that wasn't so bad."
A thought about "relapse". Is it? The road to sobriety is more like a lightning bolt more than a highway. The number of efforts aren't as important as the energy put into one. "You get out of it what you put into it" worked for me, and believe it's the same for all of us. So picking a place right "for you" is important, yes, but more importantly is how invested you are in the outcome.
